NiceBabyName helps parents find, analyze, and compare baby names using Holistic Nameology — the "Four Aspects" method from the book The Four Aspects. Give it one name and it returns that name's Governing Planet, Temperament, Rising Sign, and Rising Degree, with meanings, a personality reading, and newborn-favorability notes. Give it two to five names and it compares them side by side and flags which are most favorable for a newborn, with each name's strengths and pitfalls. It can also search a database of 160,000+ names by starting letters, gender, and cultural origin to gather candidates. English names are read from their pronunciation, which the app asks the user to confirm; Persian and Arabic names are read exactly from their own letters.
