Interestnaut grounds recommendations in what you have actually reacted to and rated — across films, TV, books, games, music, podcasts and creators — instead of guessing from genre labels. ChatGPT can read your reaction history, your 1-10 ratings, and your computed taste profile, and search the catalog by title across all seven media types. Ratings carry the most signal: they are sparse and deliberate, so a 9 means considerably more than a like. Reactions are not interchangeable either — "meh" means you consumed something and felt nothing, while "skipped" means you passed without engaging and carries no opinion at all. With your permission it can also record reactions and ratings, so you can keep your library current without leaving the conversation. Sign-in is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and a consent screen listing exactly what you are granting, and you can disconnect at any time. Results render as interactive cards showing cover art, with one-tap buttons that record a reaction or save something for later without leaving the conversation. Plot summaries and adult titles are never sent, and every card links back to app.interestnaut.com. Nothing here is locked to this conversation. Everything ChatGPT reads or writes is your own Interestnaut account, and the same library is open in the app on the web, iPhone and Android — where you can review what was saved, change or remove any reaction, add things ChatGPT never saw, build lists, and watch your taste profile update. Ratings are recorded through the assistant and feed the same taste profile.
